Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord
in the splendor of his holiness. (Psalm 29:2)
Join us in vibrant worship, participating in a traditional liturgy which includes music and visual beauty as joyful and integral parts. We celebrate The Lord's Supper regularly and welcome all who profess Jesus as Lord to take part in the sacrament.
From September through June (our program year), we worship on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the chapel and at 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary. Regular midweek, summer, and holiday services are listed on our Service Schedule page. Information about special worship services may be found in our events calendar and the weekly Congregational Update.
Celebrating Life Events
Baptisms are celebrated in the context of Sunday worship. For the baptism of infants or children, it is our usual practice that at least one of the parents of the child be a Third Church member. Baptisms are scheduled after a consultation with John Wilkinson, and are approved by the Session. For further information, contact Quillette Jones at 271-6537, ext. 102 or email email@example.com.
If you are considering a wedding at Third Church, it is very important to be in contact with the church prior to scheduling. The church has produced a wedding booklet which will answer many of your questions regarding weddings. No weddings will be scheduled without a consultation with a member of the pastoral staff. Contact Martha Langford at 271-6537, ext. 108 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Funerals and Memorial Services
At the time of death, Third Church seeks to provide pastoral care and support. It is always appropriate for funerals and memorial services to be held at the church. Please contact the church office at 271-6513 for information.
